My Story

Five years ago, we stepped into the digital world as Del.Creatives.

We didn’t have a polished business model. We didn’t have a clear roadmap. We didn’t have industry mentors telling us exactly what to do. What we had was a willingness to learn, a lot of determination, and a belief that maybe—just maybe—we could build something of our own.

At the time, I was working as a nurse in Kuwait, often working 12–16 hours a day. My husband was also working in Kuwait as a chef. But during the pandemic, everything changed.

He made the difficult decision to come home to the Philippines with our daughter. Being in Kuwait meant that even though our daughter was there with us, our work schedules made it incredibly difficult to actually be present for her.

So he chose to come home. And because his work as a chef was affected by the pandemic, I became the one who stayed behind and continued working. It wasn’t an easy season. We were both making sacrifices in different ways—one of us sacrificing a career abroad, the other sacrificing time with family.

While I was still working long hours in Kuwait, my husband began building what would eventually become DelClanor Digital Marketing

He started creating designs, videos, and content for business owners. He was the one who took the ideas in my head and turned them into visuals, videos, and something people could actually see.

Looking back, I realize how blessed I am to have had a partner who believed in the vision with me.

But eventually, I had to ask myself a difficult question: “What kind of life do I really want for my family?”

Being a nurse abroad gave us financial stability. It was a secure career.

Walking away from it was not an easy decision. But deep inside, I knew I wanted something more than financial security.

I wanted to be present. I wanted to see my children grow up. I wanted to be there for the birthdays, the milestones, the ordinary days, and the moments that you don’t realize are precious until you’ve missed them.

So I took a leap of faith.

I came home.

And I chose to build.

Fast forward five years…

What started as an uncertain creative experiment has grown into DelClanor Digital Marketing Services—a business that has had the privilege of serving around 80 women entrepreneurs and continues to grow through referrals, relationships, and genuine collaboration.

Today, this business gives me something I once deeply longed for:

I get to be present with my children.

I get to work from home.

I get to build meaningful relationships with my clients.

I get to create an impact beyond my own family.

And I no longer have to choose between providing for my family and being present in their lives.

I get to hug my children. I get to play with them. I get to show up for the little moments. And that, to me, is success.

But the story doesn’t end there.

DelClanor has also grown beyond just me.

Today, I have trusted people I can work with when a project requires additional support.

I don’t have to do everything alone—and that allows me to serve my clients with even greater care and capability.

I care so much about the people I work with. Because behind every business is a person with a dream, a story, a family, and a reason why they started.
